We had a wonderful time on our stay and definitely recommend this location to others! It was a perfect, peaceful getaway with beautiful views. Our host, Stephanie, provided many great recommendations for places to eat and hiking spots in the area. She responded to my messages in a timely manner and was very accommodating.

It was an enchanting stay. I came to visit a nearby farm for my business as a therapist involved in green therapy, but the stay was so restorative that it was the highlight of my visit.

The hotel was very clean and well kept! The front porch was very beautiful to sit and enjoy. The host was wonderful and very prompt with responding to questions and concerns. Also the breakfast was delicious!

My husband, our two dogs, and I stayed here for two nights on a roadtrip through the Midwest. We traveled through to hike Shawnee National Park (highly recommend the Garden of the Gods). It was a perfect stay: clean, updated, comfortable, and spacious. We were so happy to have a fenced in yard for our pups. Definitely check out the E-town Tap (local bar), the River Restaurant (amazing river caught catfish), and the Riverside Mercantile (ice cream). Everyone in town was really nice. Stephanie was very communicative after a storm that blew up the internet (inconsequential accident). The cabin was equipped with a smart TV so if you know how to remotely stream you'll be fine. That said, we kept ourselves busy walking around town, grabbing ice cream, and having a bonfire. We'd definitely go back and for a longer stay! There's a lot of good hiking in Shawnee.

This place is amazing. Our room opened to an expansive porch overlooking the Ohio River. Watch the sun rise or set. We had a picnic at the gazebo. The location is superb. Also, breakfast was wonderful and talking with the lady who gave us breakfast and a DNR representative who was working on the property was friendly and informative. We will be back.

A charming and historic B&B, it really pulls you into the feel of the time period and connects you with the local history in a way a run of the mill hotel wouldn't. Both Stephanie and Jessa were incredibly kind, informative, and helpful. My wife and I enjoyed the conversations and the extra helpings of local Intel they had. Beautifully picturesque view of the Ohio River, especially the still, early morning while the light fog hovered over the surface. Will return the if opportunity presents itself!

Such a quaint little town with a great view of the river and walking distance to the local restaurants. E-town River Restaurant hasn’t opened for the season, but the mercantile next door had ample meat options to take advantage of the grill. Nice to get away from busy life and relax and the coffee/ice cream next door was fantastic.

The cabin was rustic and beautiful. The view from the patio was outstanding, great to sip coffee, relax, and watch the water flow by! Stephanie was a very responsive host. I highly recommend this quant, quiet, peaceful cabin.

Stephanie’s place is a step back in time and comfort! Jessa made a wonderful breakfast and great hostess. She gave us history lessons on the Inn and the area. The Inn was decorated for the Christmas season and highly recommend this stay

The cabin of Stephanie’s is just as described. The location is peaceful and cozy. I highly recommend you giving it a try. She also has the Riverside Mercantile that has amazing drinks and snacks and other items. Right next to the Ohio River is relaxing. We will definitely stay here again. Stephanie is very helpful and responsive and goes beyond to help and make your stay comfortable and enjoyable.
